H E L L O

It's such a pleasure to meet you! As a native Memphian, my passions are God, food, and family. Thank you for visiting my blog to read about my experiences of living through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I began writing this blog because I was experiencing spiritual battles within myself, and I wanted a place to fight back against the unhealthy thoughts in my mind. Though at times I might feel like my worries are meaningless to God since He already knows everything, 1 John 1:9 from the King James Version of the Bible states that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". God is always there for us, and I hope to create a safe environment for us to come together and discuss these matters with one another. It's quite common to assume that being faithful to God is simple and easy, but this isn't true. As Matthew 7:14 states in the King James Version, "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it". On my own journey, I've realized the truthfulness of this verse, as my faith has taught me so much and has changed me greatly. Though sometimes it can be hard to speak about the messier parts of our faith, I believe it's important to talk about them all. No one should feel alone in this, and I want to offer a sense of community. With Isaiah 41:10 in the King James Version of the Bible promising "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness," God will never abandon us. All the love, joy, guidance, and even eternal life that come with this faith make it all worth it. Let us take this journey together. I look forward to learning with you as we trust in God's direction.

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
